How to use

This session is entirely external — no internal touch. Lie on your back with knees bent for easy access to the perineum. Use a small amount of lubricant on your fingertips for comfort. The prostate can be stimulated externally through the perineum with firm, targeted pressure.

The science

The prostate gland sits approximately 2-3 inches inside the body, directly above the perineum. External perineal massage can stimulate the gland through the tissue. The prostate contains a high density of pressure-sensitive nerve endings connected to the pelvic nerve plexus — the same nerve network involved in orgasm. External stimulation is a low-barrier introduction that can produce noticeable sensation without internal touch.

Tips

  • Use lubricant on your fingertips — it makes pressure smoother
  • Try tensing and then fully relaxing your pelvic floor before you begin
  • A warm bath beforehand can help you relax
  • You may feel an urge to urinate — this is normal and passes quickly

Precautions

  • For adults 18+ only
  • Use in a private, safe environment
  • This session is external only — no internal touch required

Session phases

0:45

Scene — prepare

Find somewhere private and warm. Ensure your hands are clean and nails trimmed short. Have plenty of lubricant within easy reach. A towel nearby can help you feel at ease. If you can, take a warm bath or shower beforehand — it relaxes everything.

0:30

Scene — welcome

Welcome to Prostate Awareness. This is a eighteen minute session. Whatever happens is exactly right. There is no goal, no performance, and no wrong way to do this.

1:30

Scene — arrive

Close your eyes. Lie on your side with your knees drawn gently toward your chest. Breathe in through your nose for four counts. Out through your mouth for six. With each exhale, consciously relax your pelvic floor. Soften your belly. Soften your jaw. Let your whole body know it is safe. There is no rush and nothing to brace for.

1:30

Body scan — pelvic awareness

Bring your awareness to the area between your genitals and your anus — the perineum. Without touching yet, simply notice. Can you feel your pulse there? Warmth? Tension? Just observe.

2:00

External touch — perineum

With two fingertips, gently press on your perineum. Start with light pressure. Breathe. The prostate sits just above this point, inside your body. Even external pressure can reach it. Explore with small circles.

2:00

Firmer pressure — finding the spot

Gradually increase your pressure. You may feel a deeper, fuller sensation — different from surface touch. Some describe it as a warm glow or gentle pressure from the inside. Move your fingers slightly forward or back to find where the sensation is strongest.

2:30

Rhythmic press — breath-connected

Find a rhythm — press gently on the inhale, release slightly on the exhale. Like a slow pulse. Let your breath and your fingers work together. Notice if the sensation builds or changes with this rhythm.

0:30

Your rhythm — stay with sensation

Continue with whatever position and pressure felt most present. Breathe deeply into your belly. Let the pelvic floor soften. There is no goal — just awareness and sensation.

1:30

Integration — hands on belly

Release the pressure. Rest both hands on your lower belly. Breathe. Notice what lingers — warmth, tingling, a sense of openness. You have just introduced your body to a new kind of awareness.

1:00

Return — reflection

Three slow breaths. There is no right thing to have felt. Some people feel a lot on the first try; others need several sessions. What matters is that you showed up with curiosity. That is enough.
