Scene — prepare
Ocean
6 Hz Theta
A gentle, guided session for incorporating a vibrator into your solo practice for the first time. No pressure, just exploration.
How to use
Have your vibrator nearby, charged and clean. Start on the lowest setting. This session focuses on comfort and curiosity — there is no pressure to reach orgasm. The goal is simply to become familiar with how vibration feels on your body.
The science
Vibration stimulates Pacinian corpuscles — deep pressure receptors that respond to frequencies between 100-300 Hz. Most vibrators operate in this range. These receptors adapt quickly, which is why varying position and pressure matters. Studies show that regular vibrator use is associated with improved sexual function and more positive body image, with no evidence of desensitisation.
Tips
- Start on the lowest setting — you can always go higher
- Use lubricant even externally for smoother movement
- If sensation feels too intense, use the toy through fabric or place a hand between
- Clean your toy before and after use
Precautions
- For adults 18+ only
- Use in a private, safe environment
- Use only body-safe silicone, stainless steel, or ABS plastic toys
Session phases
Scene — prepare
Find somewhere private and comfortable. Dim the lights if you can. Have lubricant nearby if you would like. Put your phone on silent. Lock the door if that helps you relax. This time is entirely yours.
Scene — welcome
Welcome to First Introduction. This is a nineteen minute session. Whatever happens is exactly right. There is no goal, no performance, and no wrong way to do this.
Scene — arrive
Close your eyes. Place one hand on your belly. Breathe in through your nose for four counts. Out through your mouth for six. Let your jaw soften. Let your shoulders drop away from your ears. With each exhale, feel your body grow heavier against the surface beneath you. There is nowhere to be. Nothing to achieve. Just this breath, and the next one.
Touch without the toy
Begin with your hands. Gentle touch across your body — belly, thighs, wherever feels good. Build some warmth and presence in your body first. The toy is just resting beside you for now.
Hold the toy — get familiar
Pick up your vibrator. Feel its weight and shape in your hand. If it vibrates, turn it on to the lowest setting. Hold it against your palm, your inner wrist. Get used to the sensation before bringing it anywhere sensitive.
Non-genital — arms and thighs
On its lowest setting, trace the toy along your inner arms, your collarbones, your belly. Move to your inner thighs. Notice how vibration feels against different parts of your skin. There is no destination yet — just exploration.
First contact — external
When you feel ready, bring the toy to your external genital area. Start beside, not directly on, the most sensitive spots. Let the vibration spread through the surrounding tissue. Breathe. Notice what you feel without chasing anything.
Explore — pressure and position
Slowly experiment with position and pressure. Closer, then further away. Lighter, then slightly firmer. You might try a higher vibration setting if the lowest feels too subtle. Follow your curiosity. Your body will tell you what it likes.
Your rhythm — free play
Explore freely with the toy now. Move it however feels best — the settings, the angle, the pressure are all yours to decide. The sound continues. Follow pleasure.
Return — reflection
Turn off the toy and set it aside. Place your hands on your belly. Three slow breaths. What surprised you? What felt good? There is no grade — only information. You can return here any time.
